Final Version

This is the final edit of my Punk Rock music video, I changed the "glichy" affect from the previous version as it made it difficult to see the footage underneath. By removing this I feel the music video looks much more convincing as professional. The thing I am most pleased about in this version is the colour grading, the overall look of the footage looks modern but with a hint of the past with a slightly brown tint. I think the editing adds to the fast pace of the song and keeps the speed up all the way through.

For this task we had to show our ancillary task and a screen shot from out music video, and get feed back from it. I had show that we had consistency throughout our work. Below is the general response I received:

• Really consistent across the products - colour scheme black & white affect, logo and slogan
• I could use better photos of the band members for my magazine advert especially the one on the right

From this task I have learnt that I am working in the right direction but I do need to tidy up a few things such as the poorer quality images. I plan to go on another shoot for the bands promotional images and replace some of the photos in the digipak to.

Band Performance Re-Edit

After the class feedback I felt I needed to work on the awkward transition between the moving shots to the tripod shots. So I started again and edited the footage to a much faster pace without the narrative sequences, and the result is below.
